Gianni Lenoci piano

Gianni Lenoci is a composer and performer of experimental work and improvised music with particular attention to radical composers. He won an award from the foundation Acanthes (Paris) in 1996. He performs frequently as soloist and with jazz and experimental groups, collaborating with leading improvisers on the world scene, as Massimo Urbani, Steve Lacy, Harold Land, Han Bennink, Bob Mover, Don Moye, Joelle Leandre, Paul Lovens, Jean Jacques Avenel, John Betsch. He teaches jazz at the Conservatory “N. Rota” of Monopoli.
