The label was founded in October 2005 with the desire to give substance to the most sweeping sounds, a cross (but not fusion) between the best of rock, blues and jazz and improvised music in a direct, sincere and creative way .
Long Song Records works with Italian and international artists. Some of them are already known (Elliott Sharp, Nels Cline, Daniele Cavallanti e Tiziano Tononi, Marc Ribot, Jamaaladeen Tacuma, Scott Amendola, David King, Giovanni Maier, Carla Bozulich), others (such as Simone Massaron, Piero Bittolo Bon, Emanuele Parrini, Musica Da Cucina, Zeno De Rossi, Xabier Iriondo…) are becoming more and more popular in our country and outside.
The label intention is involving both famous and unknown artists pushing them towards unheard of territory, inviting them to discuss, explore, invent.
Long Song Records aims to become that peculiar place where each artist can speak his own unique language.
